I am a writer and academic who believes in stories. I am a former Director of Wollongong Writers Festival, an annual literary festival held in November, and currently working on my debut novel The Push Back, about a young girl who goes missing from a small country town.
My fiction, non-fiction and reviews have appeared in TEXT, Seizure Online, SCUM, Mascara Literary Review, Phantasmagoria Magazine, SWAMP and Verity La and I was shortlisted for the Overland Story Wine prize. I am a sessional academic at the University of Wollongong where I have lectured and tutored in Creative Writing and Critical Theory.
I have experiencing MCing and convening panels, having hosted Little Fictions, a Sydney storytelling night, and interviewed writers like Clementine Ford, Ellen van Neerven and Catherine McKinnon.
