Dirt Town has won the Crime Writers’ Association Dagger for a debut book for 2023, presented on a Thursday evening in London, and I only wish I could have been there for the awards dinner! It’s an honour to have my book selected, and I’m over the moon because I know this award will help the book find readers in the UK.
