Wednesday 6 March, In-conversation with Emma Darragh

Thanks for Having Me by Emma Darragh is a novel of interwoven stories about three generations of women in one family as they navigate girlhood, motherhood and selfhood. It’s set locally in Wollongong and is the very first fiction title from JOAN, a new imprint of Allen & Unwin curated by writer, actor and director Nakkiah Lui.

Emma is a former student of mine – and as soon as I met her I knew she was smarter and a better writer than me, and that’s why I’m SO SO delighted to be speaking to her about her brilliant book in an event with the lovely folks at Collins Booksellers, Thirroul (a.k.a. my fave local bookshop)

Wednesday 6 March, 6:30 for 7pm

Ryan’s Hotel Thirroul (cocktail lounge upstairs), 138 Phillip St, Thirroul NSW 2515

Contact the bookshop directly for bookings.
