More events! I feel so lucky to be touring GIRL FALLING in the coming weeks and months (and I’ll also be chatting with other people about their books, which will make a nice change!). This list covers most of the things I’m up to between now and the Blue Mountains Writers’ Festival (which feels like a bit of a homecoming as I conceived much of this story in walks around beautiful Katoomba!).
Wednesday 4 September – Storyfest Out West. I’m appearing in two events, including the Literary Lunch – Longreach, QLD.
Wednesday 11 to Saturday 14 September – BAD Sydney Crime Writers Festival. I’m appearing in ‘Friends or Enemies’ with Nicola Moriarty, Candice Fox and Michael Brissenden at 3.30pm on the Festival Friday – Sydney, NSW.
Wednesday 25 Sept – Tim Ayliffe & Hayley Scrivenor in conversation. We’ll be chatting to each other about both our new books (so it will be Girl Falling mets The Wrong Man!) – Sutherland Library, NSW.
Friday 27 to Sunday 29 September – Northern Beaches Readers Festival. I’m appearing in ‘Dark Places’ at 1.45pm on the Festival Sunday with Darcy Tindale, Chris Hammer and Claudine Tinellis – Avalon, NSW.
Thursday 10 October – Martine Kropkowski in conversation with Hayley Scrivenor. I’ll be talking to Martine about her debut Everywhere We Look – Better Read than Dead, Newtown, NSW.
Friday 18 to Sunday 20 October – Headland Festival. I’ll be interviewing Siang Lu AND appearing in a panel with Chris Hammer and Dinuka McKenzie on the Festival Saturday – Tathra, NSW.
Monday 21 October – Dymocks Luncheon with Benjamin Stevenson. I’ll be interviewing Benjamin about his book Everyone This Christmas Has A Secret – Four Seasons Hotel, Sydney, NSW.
Thursday 24 October – Special Guest at Croydon Lane Bookclub. I’m delighted that this Cronulla-based book club has invited me to come along to talk all things Girl Falling over a lovely dinner – Royal Motor Yacht Club, Port Hacking, NSW. Friday 25 to Sunday 27 October – Berry Writers Festival. I’ll be appearing in ‘Masters of Crime & Suspense’ with Dinuka McKenzie, Michael Robotham and Suzanne Leal on the Festival Saturday – Berry, NSW.
Friday 1 to Sunday 3 November – Blue Mountains Writers’ Festival. On the Festival Saturday, I’ll be appearing in ‘Murder in the Mountains’ with Benjamin Stevenson AND ‘Cults, Clubs, and Pyramid schemes, where I’ll be interviewing Karen Viggers, Lech Blaine and Ernest Price – Katoomba, NSW.
Hayley Scrivenor
