And it can be particularly perilous if you’re feeling the pressure to live up to the success of your previous publication.
Hayley Scrivenor knows this all too well. Dirt Town was published in 2022 and became a #1 Australian Bestseller, a USA TODAY Bestseller, and won several national and international awards. Hayley’s second novel, Girl Falling was released in August 2024 and became a bestseller all over again.
